Eh si, purtroppo vivo lontano da Varese ma cerco di mantenere qualche contatto con questo ambiente, nei tempi e nei modi che mi sono possibili. Questa volta si tratta di Bryant Dunston. Vi informo che ho deciso di fare un piccolo regalo al ns. grande giocatore, e gliel' ho spedito qualche giorno fa (durante la serie contro la MONTE LADRI). In cosa consiste è un mio piccolo segreto, ma voglio pubblicare in questo Forum la lettera che lo ha accompagnato (ho fatto intervenire la censura nella parti più personali !), poichè nella parte finale - al punto 2 - mi sono fatto portavoce di tutta la tifoseria Varesina, anche di quella che non fa parte del ns. Forum; quello che gli ho chiesto infatti è di interesse generale e credo che lo condividiate tutti ! My name is Roberto, omissis omissis and I live in the Central part of Italy omissis omissis I am VARESE BasketBall Team supporter since 1978-79 and I'm a user of VARESEFANSBASKET in the web where supporters of Cimberio Varese virtually meet altogheter. I' m very happy for the good championship of CIMBERIO VARESE. " TUTTI INSIEME VENERDI 21 " Tra le cose che non sono riuscito a dirvi Venerdi scorso, durante il mio collegamento in diretta e in esclusiva VFB vi è questa; pochi giorni prima della serata al Becero ho avuto 2 comunicati da parte di una autorevole persona della società Pallacanestro VARESE, con cui sono stato avvertito che: 1) nei prossimi giorni riceverò ............... preferisco applicare la filosofia di San Tommaso, ovvero attendo che il risultato sia raggiunto per poi notiziarvi - quando la cosa sarà concreta ... saprete ! 2) BRYANT DUNSTON ha ricevuto il mio regalo ! Questo fa si che io possa dichiarare pubblicamente ......... L' OBBIETTIVO E' STATO RAGGIUNTO ! DIETRO LE QUINTE ... E' da Aprile scorso che avevo deciso di fare un regalo al ns. (purtroppo !) ormai ex giocatore, avendo dato 1 occhiata alla sua data di nascita. Inizialmente - come è normale che sia - non sapevo cosa regalare, poi l' idea mi è venuta grazie al ........... ns. TEAM MANAGER !! Infatti lessi 1 sua intervista dove parlava di alcuni giocatori - tra cui il ns. Dunston - e quindi il merito è suo ! Io sono soddisfatto così; mi basta sapere che Dunston lo ha ricevuto - oddio se poi lui volesse rispondermi ... PER ME SAREBBE PURO VALORE AGGIUNTO !! Ma non voglio illudermi, in questo momento avrà ben altro a cui pensare che a un suo ( ex ! ) tifoso come tanti altri di una sua ormai ex sq. Avrei potuto fare questo a puro titolo personale, tenermi tutto per me, ma io son fatto così. Ha prevalso il desiderio di guardare oltre il mio orticello, di farmi portavoce di tutti i Cuori Varesini - sia di quelli di questo forum che di quelli che non ne fanno parte - perchè volevo dare il mio contributo alla causa comune, CHE E' QUELLA DI CERCARE DI NON FAR DIMENTICARE MAI A DUNSTON VARESE ! la città - la Società e ... soprattutto NOI TIFOSI !! Certo, qualcuno di voi avrà un suo autografo, lo avrà visto negli allenamenti, ha gridato per lui a Masnago, ecc. A me resterà solo la soddisfazione di averlo visto giocare a Pesaro ( NON POTEI GRIDARE NEMMENO UN "FORZA VARESE" perchè ero in mezzo ai tifosi avversari ) e di averlo visto all' interno del Pullman della sq. quando mi han fatto salire, anche se forse nemmeno si sarà accorto della mia presenza. Però il mio regalo e la mia lettera allegata (scritta interamente in inglese, volutamente senza l' aiuto di nessuno, nemmeno di mia figlia, perchè volevo che fosse " tutta farina del mi' sacco", che faticaccia !) sono una mia personale soddisfazione.
