Scusa Maurizio, ma non capisco il ragionamento.

Non ho mai pensato di scrivere qui per far cambiare o venire idee alla società.

Per principio non lavoro mai gratis e per limiti miei non mi vengono quasi mai idee... quindi è assolutamente impossibile che mi abbia mai sfiorato questa presunzione.

Anzi, penso che nessuno di quelli che decide ci legga e quindi qualsiasi commento pensato in quell'ottica è sprecato a prescindere.

E se percaso qualcuno della società mi legge: NON TENETE CONTO DI QUELLO CHE DICO! NON CAPISCO UNA MINCHIA DI BASKET; SCRIVO FRASI CONTORTE E CAMBIO PARERE COME UNA BENDERUOLA NELL'OCCHIO DI KATRINA, MIKE GREEN A AGOST 2012 MI FACEVA CAGARE E RIMPIANGO ANCORA LA CESSIONE DI MARK BUFORD (COME SI EVINCE DAL NICK NAME).

Sono fermamente convinto che il mio parere non conti un cazzo e, mi dispiace diverlo, sono altrettanto sicuro che il parere di nessuno qui dentro conti piú del mio (e neppure meno).

Ma non me ne frega una beata cippa di minchia del fatto che quello che scrivo qui possa influenzare o meno la società.

Lo scrivo perchè, da che mondo è mondo, i tifosi chiacchierano e discutono dello sport che amano tanto per farlo.

E continueró a farlo perchè mi piacciono (da un punto di vista prettamente platonico e intellettuale, ca va sans dire) tanti degli utenti che qui scrivono e cazzeggiano.

E poi posso rivendermi le battute di Ponchiaz alle birrette con gli amici e sembrare piú intelligente di quello che sono

Perchè altrimenti sarebbe il caso di discutere di roba piú seria e applicarsi per far finire il problema della fame nel mondo (come già detto in gran parte mia), invece che discutere su uomo o zona, tagliare Clark o Hassel, difendere la società, crocifiggere la società, dire quanto sono d'accordo con Giesse o dire quanto ha torto Giesse etc.

Questo perdere tempo per un cazzo è quello che da da mangiare a 8 giocatori professionisti, la mancetta a qualche ragazzino messo a far numero, lo stipendio a svariati dirigenti e collaboratori della pallacanestro Varese (tutti utili a muovere il giochino, mica sto contestando quello!) e a un po' di giornalisti sulle varie testate locali.

Altrimenti la domenica pomeriggio dedichiamoci a compiti piú nobili e andiamo a pulire le sponde del lago (migliorando la qualità dell'ambiente) o a sterminare guidatori col cappello (migliorando la sicurezza stradale).

E magari facciamo scrivere a Giesse pezzi sul riscaldamento globale, l'economia mondiale e le relazioni internazionali. O almeno una rubrica di cucina. Che con le gambe sotto il tavolo si è quasi sempre tutti d'accordo. Non sprechiamo i suoi talenti per una roba inutile perdiana!

Se a me Frates, la sua erre moscia, il suo mischiare la bibbia alla vecchia fattoria, i suoi timeout non chiamati, i suoi timeout chiamati e seguiti da 24'' di palleggio onanistico e airball, le sue interviste con scarico delle responsabilità sui giocatori e complimenti all'avversario imbattibile, i suoi cambi alla regista di Boris, i suoi panchinamenti punitivi per i giocatori e i suoi non-panchinamenti punitivi per il pubblico non piacciono perchè non posso scriverlo qui (restando nei limiti dell'educazione e del rispetto)?

E devo pensare se ho o meno i soldi per assumerne un altro? no, perchè, come detto sopra, il mio parere non conta un cazzo. E poi non sono manco ragioniere e per fare moltiplicazioni a due cifre devo scaricare un'app.

Si puó solo scrivere quanto è bella e quanto è brava la pallacanestro Varese e fare il giochino di chi è abbonato da piú anni (non lo so quanti sono, dicretamente pochi, e i primi erano a scrocco pagati dalla ditta per cui lavoravo) o di chi ha fatto la trasferta piú di merda?

Sono stato a vedere un sedicesimo di finale di coppa del nonno a novotsibirsk con quarantasettesottozero, neve e grandine mista a merda, sugli spalti con un gregge di pecore e spettatori avversari che lanciavano in campo maiali vivi. E quindi vaffanculo ho ragione io e tu stai pure a casa?

A che cosa serve questo forum?

A risolvere i problemi del mondo?

A scovare nuovi talenti cestistici nei campionati minori dell'Africa sub-equatoriale?

No, serve per chiacchierare, sparare cazzare e divertirsi, indipendentemente dai risultati della squadra.

Perchè alla pizzata di questa stagione mi sono divertito tanto quanto mi sono divertito dal becero quando la squadra aveva appena sfiorato il risultatone.

Non sono quelli che si sgolano al palazzetto e urlano a Frates ogni possibile epiteto prima ancora che schieri il quintetto base.

Anzi, ne ho uno alle spalle e prima o poi finirà in campo, spero senza colpire (ammenda di euro 1200 alla società pallacanestro Varese per lancio di mona, senza colpire, ma lasciando una chiazza di siena sul parquet).

Anzi, credo di aver lanciato un numero davvero ridotto di epiteti e quasi mai contro nostri tesserati (forse un "tornatene al Molina" a Bianchini quando ha messo sul cubo dei cambi Brown e Melvin assieme).

E fino all'ultimo secondo resto nel palazzo e faccio il tifo (anche se non canto per ordine del prefetto ). Anche per Frates.

Ma se, secondo il mio modesto, incompentente, stolto, dissennato, sovrappeso, ambisinistro, butterato e anfame, parere, si è perso (forse anche e non solo magari neppure pechè chi lo puó mai sapere) per colpa di Frates, lo scrivo.

ma cosa potevi aspettarti da delle vacanze in cui quando sei andato a sciare il tempo faceva schifo e la visibilità era nulla ed in cui si sono rotte la lavatrice, la lavastoviglie, l'addolcitore, la piletta del lavandino ed è pure entrata acqua dal tetto?

Having played just five games in the D-League since the Washington Wizards assigned him and still making his way into the rotation as just 19 minutes per game off the bench, it's tough to evaluate N'Diaye beyond what we've already seen from him in college and at Portsmouth.

The best thing to take away from the limited action we saw from N'Diaye is the physical and vocal style he brings to the defensive end, doing a great job communicating with his teammates, stepping out to help on the perimeter in the lane, and really asserting his physical tools well all over the floor. He did a decent job when matched against Cole Aldrich in one game, bodying him up well and doing a solid job keeping him from establishing dominant position. His ability to block shots both in the post and helping from the weakside is a great strength, but cutting down on his fouls needs to be a priority.

Offensively, N'Diaye is still very much a work in progress, not being able to contribute much other than an occasional jump hook in the post and hitting just a poor 4-for-15 field goal attempts in his five games since being sent down. Finding better ways to impact the game off the ball should be his priority by getting open on cuts, pinning his man under the rim, crashing the offensive glass, and setting hard picks to get teammates open, as his post game is still very much a work in progress.

Looking forward, N'Diaye still has some work to do, but getting some minutes in the D-League should be pretty good for his development. Cutting down on the fouls and finding ways to contribute offensively should be his main priorities, while further developing his post game or becoming a more respectable mid-range shooter wouldn't hurt either.

N'Diaye is doing a nice job of showing teams what his role could be at the NBA level, as his combination of size, length, strength and toughness is difficult to come by, and the fact that he reportedly has outstanding intangibles will help him quite a bit in his goal of sticking around long-term.

Rutgers center Hamady N'Diaye had one of the better camps of any of the big men in attendance here, establishing himself as a player teams in need of a backup big men should look at considering his rare physical tools and terrific activity level. N'Diaye is a raw, 23-year-old center with average hands and conditioning who is known primarily as a shot blocking specialist, but may be able to find himself a spot on the end of a team’s bench as an energy guy and defensive presence.

N'Diaye has good athleticism relative to his excellent size, an impressive frame, and a developing skill set. He showed a consistent hook shot on the offensive end, but did look comfortable with anything else on this end of the floor. His hands are not very good and his footwork is a work in progress, but he appears to be a hard worker and should continue to improve in time.

On the defensive end, he has solid lateral quickness and timing, which coupled with his explosiveness and aggressiveness, allows him to be a good shot blocker and a solid overall defender at this level.

As with most shot blockers, however, he finds himself out of position when he attempts to block a shot and gives up easy shots around the rim. He also is not much of a rebounder, on account of his hands rather than because of a lack of effort.

N'Diaye has the ability to be a solid presence as a team defender thanks to his mobility hedging screens on the perimeter and his ability to rotate from the weak-side, things that are in short supply these days when considering the crop of 6-11 players available on the free agent market.

N'Diaye seems to have very good intangibles, as he is a good teammate with a steady learning curve, a penchant for hustling and working hard, a positive attitude, and, a reputation for being coachable. Coupled with his size, athleticism, and potential, he could emerge as an intriguing prospect this summer or especially down the road if he continues to improve.

After four years as a shot-blocking specialist at Rutgers, long, athletic 6’11 center Hamady Ndiaye had a solid first game (10 Points 5/8 FG, 10 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 2 Turnovers) at Portsmouth.

On defense, he played with energy and used his solid lateral quickness, timing, and length to alter more shots than his two blocks indicate. He even was a factor on the boards and boxed out on most defensive possessions, which was interesting given his sub-par rebounding numbers at Rutgers.

On offense, he had a couple of nice jump hooks, but his poor hands, non-existent ball handling ability, questionable instincts, and raw skill set are severely limiting factors, even if he does finish well around the basket. His conditioning also looked poor as he struggled to get up and down the court after a few minutes of intense effort.

He is a player worth watching in this setting, however, considering his size, length, shot-blocking ability and the effort level he brings to the table, things that are in rare supply amongst 6-11 centers, and surely helped himself in his first game.

- era uno dei potenziali acquisti tra i centri rookie dell'estate (venne poi però scelto Dwayne Collins), con Charlie Recalcati a volere Samardo Samuels (convolato a nozze con franchigia NBA).

Venne scartato, se ben ricordo, perchè ancora all'ABC cestistico, soprattutto a livello di comprensione del gioco e di capacità offensive, benchè ottimo dal punto di vista atletico.

- mi pare che abbia però subito firmato x una squadra della D-League, quindi...

DLeague x DLeague, allora...penso che sarebbe meglio Varnado. Ma temo costi e voglia giocarsi le proprie chance x l'NBA ancora.

Lascia stare va, io l'altra sera ho visto la partita di eurolega contro il Fenerbache, non ha giocato molto e fatto molto fino alla stoppatona a un paio di minuti dalla fine, poi riguardando un video delle sue giocate offensive e difensive dello scorso anno ho capito perchè Hackett lo aveva definito illegale per la serie A e ho capito anche tante cose sul nostro campionato in corso.......
